Ok, I did have a week of rest back in Atglen, Pennsylvania (Lancaster county/Amish country) We stayed in the most fabulous little stone cottage built around the 1700s. In a meadow, surrounded by an English Garden with a little creek out back that could be heard from every window. No TV! I read 4 books. My eyes are killing me!
We bought our food at a wonderful Dutch Market, boy can they cook! Most of what we bought was homemade and yes, I was a little pig. Margaritas accompanied most dinners.
We went to Gettysburg and toured the battlefield, very interesting. Also saw lots of Amish buggies and one night there was a whole group of them at the Weiss Supermarket......they were just hanging out I think??
